Support Worker And Carer Training
We offer online and face-to-face training to support workers and carers so they can perform their duties with the knowledge and confidence they need. The training may include :
- Advice on tasks to be included in your support plan
- Providing intensive specialised nursing training to suit your needs
- Monitoring and reviewing your support plan with you and your team to identify clinical issues and to enable support to work well.
- To ensure that everyone knows how to best care for you, our nurses offer specialised training in areas including but not limited to:
- Support for people living with chronic health conditions
- Medication management
- Gastrostomy care
- Tracheostomy care, ventilation care and oxygen therapy
- Assessment, treatment and management of wounds
- Diabetes education
- Catheter care and continence care
- Stoma care
- Support and advice regarding palliative care
